I am on a dell inspiron laptop with XP Home. And the problem is whenever I type on the keyboard the text on the screen is slow to follow. I could type 10 letters and its could take a really long time to get to the screen. As I type this the problem is happening. If anyone could give any suggestions on what to try that would be great. I have looked and looked on google, and one of the tips was to use something that was only in XP Pro.

edit: changed the title, wasn't thinking straight when i wrote vista up there.

I dont think there is anything special running in the background. I ran some spyware programs, nothing.

You might want to clarify which OS you are actually using, and then try loading the chipset drivers for your motherboard.

^^^^ What he said.

Understandable, some folks (when I upgrade them to IE7) think that is *Vista*...

Anyways- what kind of system do you have (hardware specs)? What programs are running? Some things like this are simply due to too much crap running on the system at one time.
