I had great results on the AMD side with this, but I'm moving to P4. How does this thing rank to other p4 coolers out there? Will it get me decent o/c on a 3.0C?

The slk-947u has a C/W rating of .16 with a Delta ( really a 80mm Tornado made by Delta) so with that fan you would expect a load temp 16°C higher than your case temp. If you use a slower fan the C/W rating will go up and your load temp will be higher at that given case temp.
I have the slk-948u, and I love it.... it's kept my 2.4C @ 3.45 chilled to 41°C load at a 25°C case temp with a Delta HHE.
