Slim CRT's?

Are there any slim CRT's like LCD's are except I don't expect it to be that slim because LCD's are rather expensive and if I get a CRT I won't be able to fit because of the very big large dimensions. I've heard of Samsung releasing one but that is a TV.

If you're referring to SED that appears to be a way off, and whether or not they even want to release a product similar for the PC market is yet to be seen. People whom use monitors expect much higher resolutions (for the most part) and high picture quality when using a monitor in conjunction with their PC's. It's yet to be seen whether or not the technology will be good at this particular application. Of course I don't think Sony/Toshiba/Samsung would invest their time in a technology that they didn't think was worth their time for a full range of products. It's a matter of time really, but if you're looking for something right now, it doesn't exist.

I'm not talking about SED, I'm talking about CRT, just a slimmer profile thats all so it can fit on my desk.

I've seen slimmer CRTs before but can't remember who manufactors them It's not as slim as an SED/LCD but it is quite a bit thinner than a regular CRT in the back.

Not friggin huge depth wise. Like 4 Inches more depth wise then a regular LCD.
I don't think that's possible with conventional CRT's.

It's not possible and if it were it would cost a hell of a lot more than a comparable LCD.
