Been looking for one of these to install in a narrow area(at the end of a duct that blows onto HSF).

Basically, I had one of these as a normal size, when I replaced the HSF the normal 25mm thick fan's didn't fit anymore, and I've been looking for a new fan to mount there. Only one I keep finding is a Zalman one, and I don't like the "grill" that they actually advertise as a bonus. Too gaudy IMO. So, does anyone know if you can take that grill off, or know of another 80mm Slim fan perhaps?
 
well it's got 4 screws holding it in place so i think you should be able to just unscrew and remove the grill.. if not, take mr. dremel and carefully cut mr. zalman away
 
Check Zalman's site for pics of it, you can take the grill off. I'm actually going to be using them in my HTPC project (link in sig).
