well i bit on that h50 at bb for $60 today. when i had my cpu out i noticed it is a little burn on the connections. it wasnt real bad (?) and the system still runs. it just passed intel burn test. how worried should i be?

Are you sure that it's burn marks and not just a bit of dirt or perhaps wear from the socket?

the socket pins looked fine. the cpu had a discolored section, about 8 contacts. it was slightly brown. i'm not really worried about it, seeing i've been running this setup for over 2 years. so if it goes it goes. has this happened to anyone else?
