Alrighty, so Ive had this lcd for about 1 year or so. I haven't had any issues with it whatsoever. Ive always ran it via VGA because my ASUS G2S does not have DVI, no biggie. Well, after a year, I JUST noticed the lcd and the notebook both have HDMI ports. SWEET!

Well, I power the lcd and the notebook down. Disconnect the VGA and connect the HDMI cable. Power up, everything boots up fine up to the point where Windows starts. The laptop screen is still in use up to this point. After this, the laptop screen shuts down like it always did and I expected the Sceptre to kick in. But no. Theres no signal for some reason. I can see the notebook still in use with the HD working, just no signal (on the Digital channel which Im assuming is HDMI).

Any thoughts?
