slight problem with my 226bw

i have this yellow vertical line going down the left side of my monitor. it's appearances are on and off. when i turn on the computer, it's not there, but later on it shows up again. i press the top part of the screen (of where the line is) and the line disappears either for a little bit, or just comes right back up. any ideas on a possible fix or do i have to get a new monitor in the future?

Just went through this with a 2433BW that was only about 2 months old.

Read here.

FWIW, it was very easy to get an RMA, now we'll see how long it takes them to ship the replacement.

do i have to send them my current monitor??? if i do...i dont have the box for it (or i'm sure i dont have it around).
 
Not sure how they will handle that, but, you might as well give them a call and find out.

They way they set it up, the exchange will be made at a local UPS Store location, UPS will call us when the replacement arrives.

Are you still under warranty ? I see that your OP was posted last July, not entirely sure what the terms are for direct replacement.

Get in touch with them and see what they have to say.
 
i had an awesome RMA experience with Samsung New Zealand when i had an issue with my 226bw.
