Better, but if you have both you've got hybrid crossfire, which I find to work quite well. Plus, ATI's 4000 series supports 8 channel HDMI audio now, unlike my 3450 which only does 6 channel (oh sooooo sad!! :()

I was under the impression that hybrid crossfire only works with the 24/34xx cards.

I had read somewhere that it had been updated to support the 4000 series, but upon finding that again, I saw that it was only updated to include the mobility 4000 series. My mistake, sorry.
