I know that many folks were having issues with using SLI and widescreen displays in the recent past. I am guilty of not staying on top of this subject. Can you guys give me some feedback on the status of all of this???? I am doing another SLI editorial and I want to cover this subject, but I do not have any personal experience and need some help from people that have hands on. Thanks!
 
I'm interested in this too since I'm considering a used Sony 24" widescreen.

Kyle, you might want to bend one of your own rules and move this over to the NVIDIA video card area. I think you'll get more bites there. I think this place is seldom visited by monitor owners after the warm fuzzy glow of their new purchase wears off. :)

That may well be true - I've only had mine less than a week and I'm already getting a little tired of looking in here. And I normally have a LOT of cognitive dissonance.
 
Kyle, I haven't noticed any of the before mentioned problems with my widescreen. I have a GTX SLi setup as shown in my sig, but just went widescreen less than a month ago. I've play Quake 4, Splinter Cell CT & Fear and have noticed 0 issues with sli & this widescreen setup. The only thing that bugged me about fear is that my monitor could only run the game at 1024 x 768 and no higher. There were litterally no other resolutions above that to select. Same goes for my buddy and his dell 2005 fpw but he wasn't running SLi. If you give me a few specific things to look for I'll do some legwork and come back with the results.
 
The new 81.87 Beta drivers released today have the following note:

GeForce 7800 GT/GTX, SLI: Rendering corruption occurs in 3D applications when fixed aspect ratio is set for widescreen panels.
