You might try backing up the BIOS and then flashing them both to the same BIOS if it doesn't. If that doesn't work, you could sell one of them and use the money to buy one of the same type.

You would first back up the bios off both cards
Download the Windows command line interface version of NVFlash442.exe here
Then run the commands
and
on each card respectively to back up the cards' BIOSes into files of those names.
Then flash the BIOS of one to the other, if you wanted to flash the BFG to an XFX bios (safer since the XFX has slightly lower clock speeds) you would put the BFG in and run the command
then type "YES" and Enter at the prompt and the card will flash. Then they will both have the same BIOS. Since you have the files backed up you can always flash them back if you ever have reason to.
Just be careful! Do at your own risk etc.

Don't waste a flash, you could easilly sell and buy one... with flashes you could lose the card all together =/ what a waste that would be.

Yeah, it is not worth wasting the one card, when you could sell it....... you may get slightly less than you need to buy a wholly new gt, but better that than toasting one or even both cards.....
there have been people who have succesfully reflashed cards, however there ahve also been people who fried them, and with hardware that chunky, I think that playing it safe is probably a better idea..

heh, i've probably flashed my GT > 30 times, and I've taken it apart multiple times to modify the cooling... maybe this card should have been dead long ago...

If you can flash them to the same bios, aka, take one bios off of one card and flash it onto the other, then you _might_ be cable to get away with it... but in an interview with one of the nvidia SLI d00d3z he said that card of a different mfg would _not_ work with SLI... but he said that same mfg cards with different bios revs would work... go figure... read more here:

Whoever said sell one and buy another one of the same brand is smart. I think that would be you best bet for longterm stability. It's a really close call with those two cards... but I would sell the other XFX and buy another BFG... but that's me...
EDIT: of the cards you could try to flash with one anothers bioses, theses are a really good match, because they are both OC'd on the core a little, right? The XFX is 370 core and the BFG is like 375? Not positive, but just thought of that.
Flashing is pretty easy, but make sure you have a GOOD floppy, don't turn the PC off during the operation (like don't trip over a power cable, step on a psu switch, etc... I have loaded bioses off of and on to my cards in SLI even and it worked great... but as always, stay in your comfort zone... if you don't feel it's something want to do really, then don't. Sell one card and buy another identical to the one left. good luck
