What is the best way to tell that both video cards are working properly in SLI? I've been playing far cry and I thought that they were until I had to use night vision. Then fps went to shite and the screen was pretty jerky.

I suppose you could download and run 3DMark05.

If you get a score over 8,000 SLI it is definitely working.

I am sure there is an easier way but I do not own an SLI system and I lack knowledge in that area.

I ran 3dmark05 about 10 days ago and can't remember what I got. I figured this is what it would come down to though. Thanks for the input.

Enable "show load balancing " in your control panel. The result will be a graphic overlay or "bar" if you would depicting the load on each card as it relates to the display viewing area
