I got a new build for a customer and he loves the mini P180 antec case, do they make mATX socket 775 mobo's that do SLI?

There was an older model for the 939 socket, it was made by evga. but dfi is coming out with one for the i7 chips using the x58 chipset. its estimated to be out in jan of 09 i think.

only crossfire on this board!

I'm waiting for the DFI LP JR GF9400 which apparently will be able to run 2 nvidia card on SLI mod but limited @ 2x 8x according to DFI:

"2 PCI Express (Gen 2) x16 slots - Hybrid SLI® - combination of the integrated graphics and a discrete graphics card in a PCIE slot (16-lane port). - Two graphics cards support SLI®; each operating at x8 (8-lane ports) bandwidth "

Hybrid SLI, not SLI

Doubt they're that stupid to have SLI on lanes on top of each other, though who knows, they've been kinda stupid with their P45 jr design. 9800GT for everyone?

Did not read correctly??

"Two graphics cards support SLI®; each operating at x8 (8-lane ports) bandwidth "
So if what they say are true: only one single slot card on the first pcie slot...

Not yet. CF only so far (DFI JR) but the X58 mATX versions will do SLI and/or CF. Starting in January '09 DFI will launch their first model. ASUS and others shouldnt be far behind with their models.

DFI has a Micro ATX X58 which will have full SLI and CF support. If you need to build now, CF with the DFI P45 TR2 Jr is your only option.

To clarify they will not be socket 775. In case the poster did not realize what platform X58 was.
