SLI Help with Windows XP

I have 2 BFG 6600 OC's SLIs with an Athlon 64 3800 and Asus A8N-SLI mainboard.

I had Windows 2000 on my computer last week and I benchmarked it using 3dMark 05 and I got a score of like 6000 something, but my friend told me Windows XP was better for gaming so I installed it and now my benchmark score reduced to like 3000 something. I have the latest Nvidia drivers, Service Pack 2, DirectX 9.0C and I made sure SLI was enabled in the Nvidia settings. I disabled it and got the same benchmark. Can anyone help me out?

Try reseating the cards and the SLI connector between them- you've only got one card working. It should be around 6k with your rig.

Yes they can. At least the 6600GT's can. I don't know about the regular 6600's though. Just about everything in the Geforce 6 family can if its PCI-Express.
