SLI and video bios

OK, I have a pair of 6600GTs I am trying to get going on an Asus nForce 4 SLI Deluxe board.

One board is an NVIDIA refernce board, the other is a Leadtek board. The Leadtek has the SLI logo on the box, as for the reference board I believe it is fully SLI capable, but cannot be sure. ANyway, they obviously have different bioses so SLI wont play ball. What is more likely to work - the reference bios on the Leadtek card or the Leadtek bios on the reference card. Anyone got any thoughts?

Update - whipped the leadtek rom off that board, backed up the reference board's rom and then tried to flash the reference board with the retail bios and got an error saying that the PCI Subsystem ID is different and that the flash cannot proceed?

Can this be forced or does this mean no go?

i'm pretty sure the cards have to be identical to run in sli.

just an fyi, our nvidia reference boards were not functional boards for sli, we had to have retail ones sent to us, so that reference board you have may not be capable of sli anyways

yeah, i was aware of that, although if I recall that really applies to the 6800 boards. I am not sure about the status of 6600GT reference boards.
