SLI and Gsync performance craters when run together.

Ok so this is a subject I've been following for a very long time on the Nvidia forums on and off hoping Nvidia would fix the problem and to date they have not. So when I saw this article on extremetech I thought wow finally someone bringing this issue to light. I see the issue in certain games and it's annoying to say the least. So I thought so of you running SLI here would like to see this and shed some more light on tyhe subject. I want Nvidia to address this issue once and for all because, quite frankly, it's bullshit and should have been addressed a long time ago.

Couldn't agree more.

I saw that article in another thread, but it deserves attention.

I've been running SLI and G-Sync for a while and always thought that G-Sync was not supposed to cause any performance issues. Many games were not getting great scaling, but I assuming it was just SLI being bad and not a settings issue.

If the performance hit is as great as the article claims, I might rather even just turn G-Sync and V-Sync off and deal with the tearing. My second 2080 Ti is being RMA's right now, but I want to test this myself once my rig is fully operational.

Interesting. I agree it needs to be fixed and addressed....

F me they have a $hit ton of ads in your link.
