I'm looking for some opinions. About a year ago I upgraded my PC that had a GeForce 8600GT 256MB video card with a new SLI capable motherboard and got two GeForce 8800GTs 512MB. All was good. But now that nVidia implemented the PhysX capability to the Series 8 and above cards I started wondering if I could put my 8600GT that is just collecting dust to use as a physics accelerator and still keep my 8800GT SLI setup. Is there a motherboard with 3 PCI-E 16x ports that will allow me to do that? Currently I have an AMD platform with a AM2 processor, but I would be willing to go Intel if it's the case.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
