Hi...Does anyone know of a place in the SF Bay area that does sleaving? I've done some in the past but was never able to do a 24 pin....building a rig for a friend and would like to get some uni-sleeving done for him...really don"t want to use the adapters that are out there for sale..and I know I can send them in to have sleeved ...was hoping there was a place somewhere close by that could do it....Thnx!

That's my feeling on it really, you could always use some split loom or cable wrap with some zip ties.
My problem is that I have never been able to extract the pins from the 24 plug...I've done molex,fan,and a few 6 & 8 pin but never had any luck with a 24 pin....plus this is a really nice build and I don't want to screw it up with some half azz sleeving....was just trying to get it done right the first time...

Try needles and a pair of small vice grips, not quick but it works.
Honestly, the two staple method works great. I did a 24pin extension and it looked fine. I did another one the other day. Used two staple method and got all of them out in 10 minutes or so.
I break off two staples (stuck together), then i bent one side flat to make an L shape. Once you have two of these L shape tools, stick the longer L side into the lateral side of the ATX connector as far down as it will go. Make sure it is on the outside of the metal cylinder, adjacent to the plastic wall. Then do the same on the other side. Once they are in as far as they will go, push the wire in a tad, which will allow you to push in the staples a little bit more. Once you push the staples in a bit more, you can pull the wire right out. I'll try to post a video of this someday, but this is the easiest way i've found to do it.
