Its not exactly psu cables but the wire on my turtle beachers for my xbox always curl and tangle up. When they were new they didnt do this. I wrapped electrical tape around it and it worked for a few weeks but now the tape is coming apart and its just a mess. Can cable sleeve for a psu be used on something else like my headset? I found this on amazon, would this work?

Yeah, you could use that. The only hard part will be stretching it over the connectors.
 
Yeah it will work, but its a plastic kind of sleeving. As "Modder" mentioned - make sure it goes over the connector. Headphones though should use the smaller stereo jack so they should not hamper your desire to sleeve those cables. Personally I would consider a different sleeving. I have tried that brand and its cheap for a reason, trying to sleeve anything with it is tougher than it should be IMO. Do yourself a favor, spend a tad more and go with Lutro0 Customs or MDPC sleeving. There are people here that have excess left over - try the For Sale/Buy thread - throw out a "Want to Buy" for the color sleeving you want and see who has some excess they want to sell, You may find some much better quality out there for much cheaper. If you are only doing headphones, a single run of about 6' would be the most you would need right?

I am still in the throws of upgrading or I may have some excess I would sell you cheap, just right now not sure if I will have excess, so holding on to all I got atm. I did buy some red & black MDPC from a guy on the FS/Buy threads and he sent me a fair amount for the price, well considering what MDPC charged me for what I got - his deal was a good one. So try out the threads here and see if you can buy some better quality cheaper, you will be glad you did. There is nothing better than trying to work with good quality sleeving.
