Well I took the moltex's appart, but you know how you can never get them to say put exactly the same, like they kinda wiggle. I am kinda affraid that one of them is gonna come out, and my 9800pro or harddrive or something will fail. Should I be worrided? I did a very good job as best as I could putting it back in, but just wondering if it has happened to anyone else.
 
id tape them up with electrical tape, and as long as u dont THROW ur computer around like a football i do believe u should be ok
 
i used heatshrink, but do u mean tape it to the wireS?
 
Sounds like you are one of the many who did it half-assed and used the wrong tool for the job.

Using an $8 tool to work on your $2,000 computer makes so much more sense than trying to use a pin and small screwdrivers to permanently destroy it.
 
yeaha it helps get them out fo sho, but does it help you put them back in? for that I just bent the pins with my mini screw as far out as they would go, then pull tested them all.
 
The only problem I had like that when I sleeved my powersupply (using a screwdriver) was getting the floppy connectors back on. I couldn't figure out how to bend the pins back into place, so I just taped them up, never use them anyway. Some of the cheapass Molex on cold cathodes and such is wobbly though, I've even had the pins pull out of female end when I moved the case, pain in the ass to figure out. That was unrelated to my sleeving, just shitty molex from Sunbeam.
 
I thought the floppy ones were easy, and with the molex remover the metal pieces never bend so they were easy to put back:)
