slave hd

it is a hd out of another cpu i had its missing some windows files so i thought i would make it a slave
 
what os are you running.. does it show up in disk management ..if in xp right click my computer ->manage ->storage ->disk management
 
Does the drive show up when the machine posts?

If you go to the disk management mmc snapin is it displayed there? (right click my puter>manage)
