I've been messing with this off an on and have not been able to get it to work with anything close to good performance (main rig in sig using 12.1 preview drivers).

Crossfire and Eyefinity work fine by themselves, but as soon as I try to play with both enabled, the performance is terrible. I get serious stuttering with any movement. Oddly, if I stand still, performance is fine. But as soon as I move or look around, it's incredibly choppy.

I've checked the graphs in Afterburner and both GPUs seem to be getting decently utilized and evenly so. With the settings I'm running, it's using about 1.6GB of video memory, so it's not like it's running out or anything.

I haven't fired up a FPS monitor to see what exactly is going on, but I'm going to try to do that tonight and see what I find.

Anyone else trying to run an Eyefinity setup with Crossfire having the same issues? If so, have you found any fixes for the problem?

Like you, I've been having stuttering issues as well when using Eyefinity and Crossfire. I've just been living with it, as it seems to go away in different zones where my FPS is below 60.

The real issue here is that Skyrim, Oblivion, and Fallout 3 have a known stuttering problem. If you play the game in Window mode, you won't experience any stuttering, but of course Crossfire is then disabled. Also, the stuttering seems to go away if you zoom out and play in third person in fullscreen mode.

A few people have had luck using this fix: http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2581

Fus ro dah!

I don't play Gamebryo games in Crossfire. They are NVIDIA shills. I don't blame AMD.

At least you can play the damn thing, I can't get past the first town without the game CTD'ing. After every patch/driver update I jump in and try the game out and nothing. Ive tried changing graphics settings ingame, tried the LAA patch (when it was relavant), disabling crossfire, disabling a single card in CF (running 2 cards instead of 3). Right now, I get about 15fps overlooking the first town (after talking to the blacksmith) from the bridge across the river and then about 34fps when not looking at the water. I can walk out to the open field and just about get to where the people are fighting the Orc and then BAM, CTD. Though sometimes it happens on the path towards said Orc...its frustrating for sure...
