Skype for iPad - Finally!

Update: Skype has pulled the app. "To ensure your best Skype experience, we've temporarily removed Skype for iPad which went live prematurely today," the company said on Twitter. "We know you've been eagerly awaiting Skype for iPad and apologize for the inconvenience."

Nooooo! :(

Hardly MS to blame. Skype devs have been working on it for awhile would be my guess, and their current iOS iPhone client is hardly perfect and bug free.

Yeah, say what you will about Microsoft, they can do some AMAZING things with software and the the Bing app for the iPad is considered on of the best for the device.

M$ fails at ipad+skype.

lol, i find it amusing people put M$ when it is Apple that is digging so deep into your pockets, rendereason fail.... as said, MS wouldn't of had anything to do with this for the time frame it would of taken.

Grabbed it.

Skype is a really great service, hope to see more of this under MSFT rule.

I can't understand why it took them so long to make this app.

Skype bought by Microsoft for the sum of 8.5 Billion dollars.
Great app.

I don't know how you can blame Microsoft. Not only has the Skype team probably been working on this for a while now, I don't even think Microsoft has officially acquired them yet. They may have purchased Skype but there's multiple hurdles they've gotta' clear yet, before it's completely done. My guess is Microsoft has nothing at all to do with this app.

Oh, and I agree with heatlesssun. The Bing app on the iPad is pretty cool.

I hate the way the contacts are organized. Otherwise, the app is what's expected.

works pretty well, but for some odd reason. if the other person is in a dark room, the ipad shuts off the incoming video feed
