Sketchy Connection W/ Router Connected

I have a Belkin F5D8233 router, and a Motorola Surfboard modem.

The internet runs fine with the modem straight to computer.

When I throw the router in the mix, pages only partially load and the connection is sketchy.

Any ideas?

Sounds like a bad router to me... and I've never been a fan of Belkin.

Update its firmware if applicable. If you have the newest firmware, at least do a hard reset of the router and set it up again fresh.
