I want to put my CPU fan on my Nexus Vantec controller but I'm a little skeptical. First of all, what are the chances of the controller shorting and the fan going out causing a possible overheat/processor kill?

Also, what temps should I expect when I slow it down? I have a Thermaltake XP90 with a 90mm fan and its at 33*C steady at full speed.

What other risk would I be taking by doing this?

PS: I may sound crazy asking about this, but its my love child. :D I don't want anything to happen to my little baby now. I got alot invested in her. :p

1.) About the same as the fan itself shorting out. Nil.
2.) Lower...Without knowing alotta other stuff, it's kinda hard to predict.
3.) Cuts, abrasions, electrocution...what risk?
4.) Yes it does.
