SK-6 on Barton 3000+? Also, AN7 errors?

My friend is borrowing my SK-6 for his new Barton 3000+ and were getting some insane temps sometimes. It ranges from 40C (sounds normal to me) all the way up to about 80C. The system thermal diode seems to be reporting bad temps as well, ranging from 80F (right) to 105F.

All this is on a fresh AN7 which has been very picky about RAM. I can't mix the Corsair 512 with generic 512 or it won't finish POST. It should also be noted that sometimes the power switch doesn't work and I have to remove power completely for a few minutes before it will once again power on.

I've been thinking of RMAing the mobo because it was giving me so much trouble, but is this the norm? I can't even get the new v15 BIOS from Abit's site and enduracell's AN7DE8 BIOS wont flash for some reason.

Please, any help!

Note: This board is running stock. No OC at all ... For now.
