Sixth IE9 Platform Preview Available for Dev

[HardOCP News]

Microsoft announced the sixth developer preview of IE9 yesterday for those of you interested.

We’ve had 10 million downloads in the six weeks since we released the IE9 beta. That popularity reflects the significant improvements in browsing that IE9 brings to the web. Users can pin sites directly to the Windows task bar, and sites can program jump lists and offer notifications just as Windows applications do. The web standard markup (HTML, CSS, and script) in pages runs faster and smoother, taking advantage of modern PC hardware.

Clean look but I miss the easy search bar like on IE8. Anybody else?

You can just type your search query directly into the URL field and hit go and it will take you to the default search provider.

I've actually been enjoying IE9 and Microsoft has done a pretty good job with it. It's faster than FF4.0 in my testing but still behind chrome.

I use it primarialy when working and it is definitely a larger step in the right direction but I think it's time for a larger logo change. I just dont like the stock IE logo and it doesn't carry the same class as the browser itself does.
