Hey guys, started a new site http://www.hulkmad.com

I want to get some input from you. If you go to the site right now, you can see on the pictures I am using lightbox 2. I am stuck in choosing between just having an image viewer script for the pictures or keep on using the lightbox script.

This comes from the fact that I'm pretty sure some people will press the back button when a picture loads instead of using the close link. Also, lightbox + flash do not play well together. Does anyone think differently? I would love to have lightbox 2 have the close button in the top right again, but as of now, I have no time to mess with the script.

Why don't you just link to the jpeg like you do when I disable flash and javascript?

By the way you are using the wrong mime type for XHTML.

I'll see what I can do to wp to fix up the mime type. I would rather use an image viewer instead of a blank window to keep them on the site.

Then link to an HTML page which encompasses your website's template and navigation.

I'm actually trying to get a feel for how people navigate a site. The choice is between a lightbox and image script. I want to see how some people respond to lightboxes/new windows since lightbox is a fairly new thing. I guess the core of the question is I want to see some more pros and cons of one way to another.

@alkoholik

thanks :)

If someone who knows what she's doing finds [the flash] irritating what will a newbie's response be? You can do popups that work without javascript or target=_blank.
