We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

SIP Protocol Question

As I mentioned in the past I work in the phone call recording business for call centers, trading floors, public safety, etc... One thing we can do is also record the PC screen while on a call. Without getting too detailed into how that actually works the screen recording session starts and stops via SIP. I couldnt get a specific agent's screen to record today until i noticed that the time between the recording server and the agent's workstation was off by 5 minutes. Just to cover all bases I corrected the time on the agent workstation to match that of the screen recording server. Screens started recording instantly.

My question, is the SIP protocol reliant on time being sync'd between both parties or was this just something that was unique to the software we use. I couldnt find the answer in our documentation, or any quick searches into the SIP protocol itself.
