Why wouldn't it run BF2 (any flavour) night or otherwise?

If you are referring to the bloom problems with the NV goggles, that's apparently fixed in the Catalyst 6.2 driver.

Or did you mean this is a "just for benching, not for gaming" rig? ;)
 
I don't get why people overclock these rigs when they can't even use it for gaming etc...
 
Useless? We're drooling all over it. :D

I have to say, my X1900XT is much quieter than my BFG 7800GTX: The added 256 DDR3 makes a difference in even surfing. I hated that "shift" from idle to hyper.

Drooling over what. A number on a synthetic benchmark when they can't even use that rig for 24/7 computer use like gaming, work etc...

Show me a rig that is overclocked and can be used at those overclocked settings 24/7 and then I'll be impressed.

I know. Its not like theyll be able to put it in a case. And so what if they get 300000 in 3dmark 09...i want to see some benchies with games..FPS perhaps. screw these synthetic benchmarks. they mean nothing in the real world. :rolleyes:

Give me FPS in Doom III or Quake 4 or FEAR. Then well see how good all that work is for. Dudes..its just a number.

Well no shit... The only thing that is being proven here is how powerful the cards are, the fact that a single 1900XTX can match 7800GTX 512-SLI is amazing!
 
Have to agree about the "nay" sayers. I mean isn´t this suppose to be [H] site and not everything should make sense.

People can argue about putting two cards into a gaming computer really necessary or practical, but this extreme OC stuff goes so much beyond reason that it is actually cool :D

I'm surprised he scored that on relatively low memory clocks, but very nice core overclock.
Isn't the XTX ram rated at 1800Mhz?

oh for fucks sake stop trolling... :mad: its the theory of it.... this stuff is just seeing how far the guy can push the damn stuff and see how good it scores... even on air or water that setup would rock balls... so yea...
 
is that card volt modded? If so, can you give us a link? Im trying to get one before the end of the month, and i really want to wolt mod it.
