Single WC system to cool 5 blocks?

Dual WC system to cool:

QX6700 Quad Core running at 3.6Mhz
Vreg
North & Southbridge
GTX 8800 OC

May do the hard disks too if it works.

I was going to do northbridge, CPU and Vreg on one loop and the Gfx card, southbridge, (optional-HDD on the other).

If I am using a 1/2" WC system, would it be enough to cool everything in the circuit with a PA 3.120? Or would I need two circuits with 2x PA 2.120's and 2 DD D5 pumps?
 
A PA 120.3 will do all of that, unless you want another GTX for SLI (in which case you'll need an additional 120mm radiator)
 
One PA120.3 will cool all that but not very well. A QX6700 @ 3.6g and a 8800GTX will be putting out a lot of heat. Not to mention the rest of the blocks you want to run in the system. Not sure what the other people posting think acceptable temps are but I don't think they'll be acceptable.

Rig is in my sig and I'm just cooling the QX6700 right now. My temps are just barely acceptable as far as I'm concerned.
 
One PA120.3 will cool all that but not very well. A QX6700 @ 3.6g and a 8800GTX will be putting out a lot of heat. Not to mention the rest of the blocks you want to run in the system. Not sure what the other people posting think acceptable temps are but I don't think they'll be acceptable.

A quad core overclocked to 3.4ghz or so shouldn't put out more than 160w of heat.

A GTX overclocked to around 625/2000 won't put out more than 200w of heat.

MOSFET's and NB's might put out around 60w of heat all-together. I wouldn't EVER cool the SB, but that's just me.

You're looking at around 450w of heat either way, the middle limit for a PA120.3 (middle limit being 3 fans at around 1200rpm).

Quad core temps are much, much more limited by the waterblock style than current radiators, especially in your case Sider.

So your saying that if I were to add a gpu block to my loop that I probably wouldn't see much of an increase in temps? Since my rad has plenty of headroom left since I'm only cooling the cpu? Hmmm, that kinda makes sense. I hope to put that to the test here when the new round of vid cards comes out.

Pretty much. Without changing any waterblocks, switching my 7800GT to an 8800GTS didn't even budge my temps...
 
I'll be using a d-tek fuzion for my cpu block. I may run 2 PA 120.2's then just to be safe- incase I go sli down the road.
