just saw this at the egg. Wondering if anyone has tried it yet? Curious about temps with such a small cooler. Also would it even OC any with such a small cooler? Do love the smaller solution though for htpc.

guru of 3d has these reviewed, and quadfire even. I believe they said that while audible they were not loud.

How did they get crossfire, let alone quadfire, to scale so well with 10.8 drivers?
 
Look at the fan on that card and compare it to the fan on the single-slot XFX. The fan on that PowerColor looks tiny. Also, I don't understand why the cooler hangs off the end of the card like that. Almost looks as if the cooler wasn't made for the card.

My XFX single-slot is pretty silent. The only thing I miss is the HDMI port. Carried both audio and video to my LCD TV. Don't have that option with my XFX.

Looks to me like it's to draw air into the blower from the backside of the card and they didn't want to go the usual of cutting a hole in the pcb, maybe for cost reasons or because it just was easier to do it this way.
 
I read that review the other day. looks like the driver support has come a long way. The first 3way xfire review i read didnt do so well. Makes me want to give tri fire a shot.
