Single PCB GTX 295's

Does anyone here run a setup with multiple Single PCB GTX295's?

What are you temps like?

Im kind of nervous to put two of these next to each other as I think the first card would not get any air because it would be right up against the second.

Thoughts?

I tried three stuffed into a case, and you need good airflow (external fans) but the temps aren't bad. The temps were the least of my problems with that config. I removed the middle card, and the temps for the remaining two are fine. I let it run at standard fan speed just to keep the noise down, but 100% fans would lower the temps more.

If the cards are right next to each other, you can remove the plastic shrouds AND point external fans at the cards to lower the temps below what the standard cooling will give you. (I used a Scythe 140mm mounted above the three cards blowing down onto the cards, in addition to the standard case intake & exhaust fans.) Don't remove the shrouds without extra fans, though, because the temps will be higher than normal.



If you want actual temps, I wrote them down but I'll have to find them.

no they are dual slots even without the shroud.. just look at the back of the case.. pretty much a dead give away on how thick the actual heatsinks are on the gpu's..
