This is gonna be little long of a thread. There are a few senarios. I currently have a e6750 with dual 8800gt in sli 4x1gb ram. I currently have the cpu and gpu's water cooled and am waiting on a water block for the nb. i am going to fan cool the sb and pci-e chips. I ha a pump>cpu>gpu1>gpu2>240radiator>pump setup. yes this is currently a res-less setup. now i also have spare pump and 120 radiator. Should I run 2 separate loops cooling the cpu, 2xgpu, and nb? What if i decide to water cool the ram? or should i split a single loop some how? If so what are your suggestions? Should i put my resavoir back in the loop for more coolant? will make difference if i upgrade to a quad such as the popular q6600. Yes i plan on overclocking. currently i have just my ram overclocked but that is 1066 ram in a mobo that clocks it to 800 and is currently clocked up to 1000 so ram itself is below its stock but the mobo is oc'd in this regard. worth getting the ram water cooling blocks? or will just a fan work enough. to make this easier I will list all water cooling parts I have and someone tell me the best way to go.
have:
1 pump w/o res
1pump with attached res
nb
cpu
2xgpu
120 rad
240 rad
5.25 bay res
thinking of getting:
ram water blocks
look to seeing some opinions on what to do. this is also all inside a antec900 case except the 240 rad is outside case ontop of top fan. I may be getting a 1200 soon but for now planning is on a 900.
