Single Electron Transistors

So i read an article about a new way of determining the logic state of trasnistors called (title), or known as SET. I know this is decades form beeing implamented, i was just wondering what people think and what people know about it, i read the overview of the proccess and about how it uses a type of quantam physics.

So whats up with it and what not><
