just upgraded my system to a 2600k, with 8gbs of 1600 Ram, and all the bells and whistles. Thing is I'm debating whether to buy another 6870 and do crossfire, or just sell my card(which I got for $130 from a sale a bit ago) and get a single 560ti. FPS are great... but not as great as I could expect BF3 runs around 50fps and dips every once in a while when on high to ultra settings. I know I could always SLI later but I don't really want to spend too much seeing as I already broke the bank for my upgrade.

Any help is appreciated.

The 6870's in crossfire would be alot faster.

6870's in xfire are 20% faster than a gtx580. Just make sure you buy the 2gb cards, like I did.

hell, even 2x 6850's are fairly matched against 1 GTX 580. Some games loose, some win. Thats the path i chose and saved a ton too.

6870's were awesome... i just wish i had the 2gb cards....

I just sold my 6870's and upgraded to CF 6970's.... :)
