I remember I used to jam wires into molex plugs to suck power for things like fans... but I dont remember how I did it. Im trying to do this with my cpu fan and my system fan, but I dont remember whether I should plug the red wires from the fans into the red molex pins or the yellow pins... any help?
 
The yellow wire carries 12 volts, the red has 5. You most likely want the 12.
 
Case fans take 12v.

Power Supplies output 3.3v, 5v, and 12v.

Therefore, you are fine.
