I used this program called MP3-Knife for .MP3's that was so easy to use all you did was select the start and stop time with a existing MP3 file and it automatically cut the rest out making it into it's own seperate clip.

New to video editing so far every video editing program I've seen was way more complex and way too many features I don't need.

I'm looking for a basic clipping program, to edit one big .WMV file. Is there a basic software editor that lets you select a portion of movie and it chops it out without thousands additinal long and tedious steps?
 
nevermind found one.

Corel VideoStudio 2010. It's exactly like MP3-Knife but works on video.
