I know this is probably a "no", but are there any issues with opening up my Antec True Control 550W PSU to cut off the damned useless AUX connector?

I plan on pushing the cable through the hole, cutting the wires, then shrink tubing them so nothing shorts out.

Other than the obvious voiding of my warranty...any issues with doing this?
