Well I am looking to get into water cooling. I have couple of simple questions. Will i need to keep fans in my computer if I watercool everything? Also if you guys would be so ind pick me out the best water cooling i can get for $350-400 And a new case that will fit it.

Oooooh, for $300 to $400 you can get a lot of nice goodies =).

First off, what kind of case do you have? This can help us determine if your capable of fitting in a Dual 120mm Radiator. If not, then we can find you radiator that goes on the side of the case thats passive (aka no fans). But that also comes at a price.

Also, the size can tell us if 1/2" tubing or 3/8" tubing is in your area. I'll make a system for you, and you and people viewing this thread, can help determine a good system for you.

Configuration 1: Danger Den

Danger Den TDX
Danger Den 6800 RAM and GPU block
Black Ice Extreme 2 (2x120mm)
Danger Den D4 12V (good pump in my opinion)
Dual Floppy Bay Res

Total = $361.50 from http://www.voyeurmods.com/

The following configuration is 1/2". If you want to make adjustments, feel free to. I chose the Black Ice Extreme 2 because I hear good things about it, in my system I run a TDX, Danger Den GPU block, and a DDC-12V pump. I have a single black ice pro radiator. My 9800 Pro (miniature oven) doesn't go above 60*C during games, but idles at 58*C. My CPU idles around 24*C, and doesn't go above 28*C during games. So I figured if the Black Ice Pro was this good, the Black Ice Extreme 2 should be even better.

Asetek dual 120mm kit w NB, CPU, and Graphics coolers at Sharka Corp for about $320. They also have the triple 120mm kits at $350. One of the best cases on the market for water cooling is the Lian-Li V series cases.

You still have to move air in your computer to cool other components beside the ones you will water cool. However, if you use a decent radiator/fan combo and place it in the right place it can serve double duty. :D

My case Is way to small now, so i might get a stacker, or a PC-V1000
And I want 1/2 thats why im doing this over prebuilts. And a reson to get a new case :rolleyes:

Edit* Just made some more money off of ebay so i have some more money to spend. Should I save up more and get ophase or is that a huge waist of money?
