P4 2.0GHZ 512/400
OR
Celeron 2.8ghz 128/400
Which one should I be using?
This is with 1gb ram.
So a slower clock speed with more cache and a faster fsb is better than a faster clock speed, with slower fsb and less cache?
2.0ghz 512/400 > 2.8ghz 128/400 correct?
Guys, am I missing something here? From most of the charts I've looked at, a 2.8ghz Celeron will beat a 2.0ghz P4. That's a 2ghz Northwood core vs. a 2.8ghz Celeron D.

So, you guys suggest the p4 at 2.0ghz over the celeron at 2.8ghz?
its not just the cache, the p4 ability is supprior to the celerons. it is how it works internally that counts. i have seen many case were slower clocked p4s beat the higher clock celerons hands down. get the p4 you wont be sorry
What if I went to a 2.4ghz 512kb/533mhz fsb chip?
