Simple Nero Question

Are you buring a Audio CD or simply putting mp3 files on a disc?
If you are buring a audio CD then you can just drag the tracks around in the Audio CD window to get them in the order you want.
If you are buring mp3 files to a disc whatever you are using to play them will have to sort them. Its not possible to burn them to the disc in a specific order (and even if you did, whatever you played them with would not play them in that order)

Here's a little trick that I use for burning with Nero to get things in the order that I want.
When you drag-n-drop into Nero, Nero sorts the files by filename alphanumerically. Nero uses this to create the TOC for the disc. This is a one-shot operation. That's why you can't play with the order.
To get around this, order the files BEFORE you drag-n-drop them into Nero.
I set up a little working directory and then append a numerical prefix to the filename like this.
First, the files as they would normally appear in my list...
Notice that they are alphabetized by letter by default in the list.
To order them differently, throw a numeric prefix before each one
I would make this change in a directory somewhere on my hard disk.
Then I would drag and drop this into Nero to make my MP3 CD.
For me, this is important because the CD player in my truck also parses through the directories alphanumerically. You may have to make subtle changes to how you actually pull this off, but this is the basic idea.

Buring them in physically different order on the disc would do nothing. The ISO 9660 filesystem calls for files to be sorted alphabetically. As such any device capable of reading a standard data disc will sort alphabetically.
Putting a number at the begining of the file as svet-am suggested will allow you to control the order in which they are sorted
