im building a computer for my bro and im looking for a case that is simple in design and very easy to work with but is of good quality.

AOpen HX45 or HX45A
Antec SX630II

These are solidly built steel cases, probably running between $45-70 with an included modest but well-made and functional power supply. They can't be beat up too easily, have room for expansion, and look good. The Antec also has front USB and Firewire, a real plus.

The Antec is currently available at NewEgg for $60 with $16 shipping.

antec with included power supply can't be beat, imo.

Just put together a file server with an Antec tower case. Best case I ever worked with, hands down.

I wish I had seen this case before I bought mine:

It's just a lian-li knock off, but its a good one! From what I read, included PSUs are usually crap. I just bought a PSU to replace mine - you should look into a fortron: cheap and awesome. Check the sticky in the powersupply forum.

That Skyhawk doesn't look all that great if you look at the first picture and see that the side panel doesn't even look like it fits all that well. Up at the top it appears to be bent out or something. Not that that particular case is representative of the one you may get, but it doesn't do alot to inspire confidence in the quality of the workmanship that goes into that case. Going on the axiom of 'you get what you pay for', it looks like a $40 Aluminum case might not be that good of a deal if the panels don't even line up well.

I see what you are talking about but I think that might have been the people putting the thing together for the pics. I'm sure the thing actually does fit flush.
