Anyone else have this case? For as much as it costs one wouldn't expect, ya know, things as simple as sliding the sides on or mounting the psu while the adapter is on to be nearly impossible.

The sides on the case will not slide all the way forward. I had to take off the psu mount because the screw holes were not aligned.

I guess either UPS trashed it of silverstone has major build quality issues. Either was it's a pain in the ass to have to return it after I've mounted everything inside it. I also gave myself one of the worst bleeding cuts I've had in my life while trying to put the side back on. The rounded edges of the sides are unfinished and razer sharp.

For all it's flaws it does cool exceptionally well. I guess I'll try another before abandoning it.

Mine is doing good, as for putting on the sides, make srure you apply pressure to the bottom of the panel, it's a tight fit and thats why it's going to be harder to fit on.

Also, as for the PSU mounting, I have no idea there. I usually loosley mount my psu to the bracket and then loosley mount the bracket... when im done then I tighten everything up

When I did that the screw holes were mis aligned on one side so I think my case is deformed some how and thats why it's so hard to put back on the side (it was also extremely difficult take off originally)

For as huge as the box is and all the padding inside I find it extremely difficult USP could have damaged it traveling only 200 miles. I think the build quality on it is just bad. I really hope Newegg doesn't try to charge a return fee or doesn't cover shipping. I will be extremely pissed and will never buy from them again if they do.

Hmm mine came over 1,000 miles and its perfect. You should contact silverstone.

yes i'm extremly disappointed with the sides... took me 30 mins to take up the side trying not to mess it up. although other then the side i have nothing to complain about. i'm gonna contact tj07 asap

In my case (pun intended), UPS trashed my first order from performance-pcs.com. I think they played football with it at the warehouse :D

The second one showed up two weeks later and was flawless. I tried to get performance-pcs.com to ship it FedEx as I trust them more than UPS, but alas they could not. I freaking hate UPS! I basically had a caseless computer for nearly two weeks LOL.

The sides of mine and the PSU mount have worked flawlessly. Seriously, I would blame the shipper rather than Silverstone over damage or nonaligned sides.

poor babie

Do you mind if I use these pictures. Some people complain about the fact that we only ship FedEX and use a $300 dollar shipping box on our gaming systems. (We loan it to them so they don't have to buy it.) The old saying, " A picture is worth a thousand words." :D

No, I had to return it so that Silverstone could make a claim with UPS. It would have been nice to keep for spare parts, or even as a conversation piece about crappy UPS shipping. What was funny to hear from Hank at Performance-PCs was that they chose UPS over FedEx because they thought FedEx was worse. I've dealt with FedEx for many years, mostly buying from Newegg and I have never had a defective product due to shipping from them.

Wow that's insane. Yeah I supsect it was UPS that did it. I've filed an RMA with Newegg and they said they would take the claim to UPS on my behalf. Hopefully I'll get a new case soon.

Speaking of UPS the jerks came at 7:30 pm last night and literally threw a package from the street to the door (I'm not making this up) the door is down a set of stairs from the carpark so the thing must have flown atleast 30 feet. All the lights were off and I had just come upstairs when it happened so I think they thought no one was home.
