I bought this case for my birthday last year, around august. Actually pretty close to its release. Being my first Silverstone Case purchase I was at first ecstatic... But after a few months. Things went downhill. I wont elaborate, i will just show you the mysterious cracking on the plastic.

My computer has lived in this case for 17 months. And under normal use, nothing extreme or crazy. And never forcefully touching, or putting any type of chemicals on the plastic itself. Im getting cracks around the window itself.

I think it could be stress cracks? from the hardware used to secure the plastic? but im not sure, anyone else have this type of problem with any other case's?

Wow. I've never seen this before on a SS case. I'd shoot their CS an email and see if you can have a replacement panel sent out.

I have gone to SS customer service once before on this case. Because a plastic latch on the back side has broken, twice. the second time i didnt even bother getting a replacement because it was a flaw in the case. :(

So? Just because they've helped you before doesn't mean they won't help again lol

Yea, i suppose i could go back to Silverstone customer service. but i have been using it for 17 months. Plus i have a Black Pearl and a canyon 595 ready.

Im just curious if the quality of other silverstone case's are similar to this Raven? Or did i just get a Lemon?

One of the reviews on Newegg of either the RV01 or RV02 described the exact issue you have, so unless you're the one that submitted the review it seems you're not the only one with this issue.

Look like Silverstone tightin the bolts (screws?) to tight and overtime it turn into stress cracks.

It's pretty cool to see that one!

The early Lancool k62s had that problem as well. Something about the screws.

Had mine for almost 2 years and no problems with the window. Looks like the screws may have been overly tightened and slowly cause the cracks. I'd contact SS about it and see if they can help.

Yep I have to agree, I think, as others have stated, that the screws were indeed over tightened causing the "stress" cracks. Send the picture that you posted here to the customer service as well. They will probably send you out a new window, or probably a whole side cover.

Good luck and keep us posted man.
