Silverstone FT01 and HOT GTX 980s

I have an FT01. See my signature for specs. I have two GTX 980 SC cards with reference coolers. I removed the front top drive bay cage so there is more airflow to the cards, but they are still hitting 80c. Plenty of space in between the cards--this is an X99 board so there is a LOT of room between the cards.

I need to do something to cool those cards down. Can this case be modded? Do you think adding another front intake will help. Is there any way to properly air cool video cards without a side fan? Thanks.
