Silver ATCS 840 + LL bezel?

Anyone tried using a LL bezel with a non-LL case (specifically an ATCS 840, if possible)?

I ordered one anyway, if I have to be the 'guinea pig' so be it. :D

Did you have any success with this or pics to show? I've also got the ATCS 840 and am thinking of different ideas for it.
 
No, I ended up butchering the LL bezel trying to get it to work, and it was trashed. (Mangled, basically.) :eek:

I have come up with a stealth bezel idea (stealing an idea used by several other members in the A05 thread) - taking the silver piece apart from the black plastic piece that the 'blank' bezels use, and using double sided tape to get it (the silver piece) to stick to the tray of an optical drive. (And then pressing the bottom corner to get the tray to pop out.)

That's what I'm planning on trying within the next day or two once I finally get to finishing putting this together.
