The tip of my usb stick touched the door magnet of my p180 case. Basically the metal connection that touches the usb slot.

It seems to work fine, but is it safe to flash a motherboard with it or I shouldn't risk it? Let me know If I'm not making sense...

You're good to go. If you're super paranoid then delete the .bin off the usb key and copy it over again but honestly you won't be accomplishing anything other than making yourself feel better.

Flash away.

thanks, I guess I was just being paranoid. That damn door magnet is pretty damn strong

Magnets will definitely destroy data on a floppy disk but I'm pretty sure ti's not going to corrupt any data on a usb thumb drive

u are g2g!!! dont worry homie. if it fails itll revert back. its when the power shuts down u point the blame finger
