Okay so I just got a new system, and I am wondering if I should spend the money to get a X-Fi card.

I have a Hercules Game Theater XP (yes very very old :) ) used to love the card, until I got too lazy to move it around during my college years...

I am wondering if any of you still use this sound card? How does it perform with the newer games? How does it compare with the onboard sound card that comes with the DFI NF4 boards?

I am mainly going to use my logitech Z680 with it so I don't need fancy 7.1 sound cards. Also I am thinking of getting either a H280 or the Sony V6 (forgot the exact name).

Let me know what you guys think
