I have the DFI SLI-DR. My SI controller is configured in a RAID 0 on 2 drives, working fine. I attached a 3rd storage drive. The controller sees it, and I even formatted from there. WinXP Pro doesn't see the drive, even in disk management. HELP!!!
 
If RAID is enabled on it, you may have to create a one drive JBOD array. Kind of annoying, but possibly necessary if the RAID BIOS firmware is poorly written or buggy.
 
I think I'll try that. I put the drive on the NVIDIA SATA chip, and it was immediately recognized and is currently working fine. Maybe I'll wait until my fourth drive arrives back from RMA to switch it all around.

That actually worked perfectly. I had NO idea that was needed for a non-RAID drive. Thank you very much.
