I have just re-installed my computer using a slip streams WinXP Pro SP2 CD and i am getting this weird problem with my Silicon Image 3112 rv.2 two port SATA card. When I attach my two SATA HDs to it I get 4 showing up in my computer, 2 normal drives, and 2 drives that dont seem to exist anywhere else, but take up a drive letter, have no capacity, but seem to be HDs.

I installed the driver for the controler from windows update (the same as I did when i first got the card under SP1), with the drive attached, and the problem popped up. I have tried uninstalling the drivers switching the computer off, disconecting the drives, reinstallign teh drivers, and then reconnecting teh drives - same effect.

Ideas/Surgestions?
